B\u00fcy\u00fck o\u011flu Abdullah\u2019tan dolay\u0131 \u201cEb\u00fb Abdillah\u201d diye \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131l\u0131rd\u0131. Peygamber (s.a.s)\u2019in dostu ve havarisi (yard\u0131mc\u0131s\u0131), ayn\u0131 zamanda halas\u0131 Safiyye binti Abdulmuttalib\u2019in o\u011fludur.<\/p>\n<p>Cennetle m\u00fcjdelenen on ki\u015fiden biridir. Hz. \u00d6mer\u2019in vefat\u0131ndan sonra, halife se\u00e7imini ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirmeleri i\u00e7in tayin etti\u011fi alt\u0131 ki\u015filik \u201cAshab\u00fc\u2019\u015f \u015f\u00fbra\u201d (dan\u0131\u015fma kurulu) \u00fcyelerindendir. Annesi kendisini \u201cEbu\u2019t-T\u00e2hir\u201d diye \u00e7a\u011f\u0131r\u0131rd\u0131. Fakat Z\u00fcbeyr (r.a) kendisini o\u011flu Abdullah ile k\u00fcnyelendirmi\u015f ve bu k\u00fcnye ile tan\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r (el-Askal\u00e2n\u00ee, el-\u0130s\u00e2be f\u0131 Temyizi\u2019s Sah\u00e2be, Beyrut, t.y., III, 5; \u0130bn Hi\u015f\u00e2m, S\u00eere, M\u0131s\u0131r 1955, I, 250; Buhar\u00ee, Fed\u00e2il\u00fc Ash\u00e2bi\u2019n-Neb\u00ee, 13; \u0130bn Abdi\u2019l-Berr, el-\u0130sti\u00e2b f\u00ee Ma\u2019rifeti\u2019l-Ash\u00e2b, Kahire, t.y., II, 510; \u0130bn Sait Tabak\u00e2t\u00fc\u2019l-K\u00fcbra, Beyrut,1957, III, 100).<\/p>\n<p>Z\u00fcbeyr, Hz. Ebu Bekir\u2019in \u0130sl\u00e2m\u2019a girmesinden k\u0131sa bir m\u00fcddet sonra m\u00fcsl\u00fcman olmu\u015ftur. \u0130lk m\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlar\u0131n d\u00f6rd\u00fcnc\u00fcs\u00fc veya be\u015fincisidir. Ancak ne do\u011fum tarihi, ne de ka\u00e7 ya\u015f\u0131ndayken m\u00fcsl\u00fcman oldu\u011fu kesin olarak bilinmemektedir. Muhtelif kaynaklar, m\u00fcsl\u00fcman oldu\u011fu s\u0131rada onun 8-16 ya\u015flar\u0131 aras\u0131nda bulundu\u011fu s\u00f6ylerse de bu tahminlerin do\u011frulu\u011fu \u015f\u00fcphelidir. Zira babas\u0131 Avvam b. Huveyfid\u2019in Ficar sava\u015flar\u0131ndan birinde (kuvvetli bir ihtimalle d\u00f6rd\u00fcnc\u00fc ve son sava\u015fta) \u00f6ld\u00fcr\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fc, onu \u00f6ld\u00fcrenin de M\u00fcrre b. Muatab es-Sakafi oldu\u011fu kabul edilmektedir. Baz\u0131 kaynaklarda Z\u00fcbeyr (r.a)\u2019\u0131n Hz. Afi, Talha ve Sa\u2019d b. Ebi Vakkas ile ayn\u0131 y\u0131lda do\u011fdu\u011fu ifade edilmektedir (el-Endel\u00fcs\u00ee, el-Ikd\u00fc\u2019l-Fer\u00eed, Beyrut, t.y., VI, 92; \u0130bn Kuteybe, el-Ma\u00e2rif, L\u00fcbnan,1970, 96; el-Askal\u00e2n\u00ee, a.g.e., III, 5; \u0130bn\u00fc\u2019l-Esir, \u00dcsd\u00fc\u2019l-\u011e\u00e2be f\u00ee Ma\u2019ifeti\u2019s-Sahabe, Kahire, 1970, II, 250; Zirikl\u00ee, el-A\u2019l\u00e2m, Beyrut, 1969, III, 74; \u0130bn Abdi\u2019l-Berr, a.g.e., II, 510-511; \u0130bn\u00fc\u2019l-Cevzi, Safvet\u00fc\u2019s Safve, Haleb,1969, I, 342; Butrus el-Bust\u00e2n\u00ee, D\u00e2iret\u00fc\u2019l-Maarif, IX, 177).<\/p>\n<p>Son Ficar sava\u015f\u0131, Hire h\u00fck\u00fcmdar\u0131 d\u00f6rd\u00fcnc\u00fc M\u00fcnzir\u2019in o\u011flu Numan Eb\u00fb K\u00e2b\u00fbs\u2019un saltanat\u0131 (585-614) s\u0131ras\u0131nda meydana gelmi\u015ftir. Ficar sava\u015f\u0131 ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 zaman, kimi rivayetlere g\u00f6re Peygamber (s.a.s),14-15 ya\u015flar\u0131nda, kimi rivayetlere g\u00f6re ise daha k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck ya\u015flardayd\u0131. Son Ficar sava\u015f\u0131nda ise O\u2019nun 14-20 ya\u015flar\u0131nda oldu\u011fu gelen rivayetler aras\u0131ndad\u0131r (\u0130bn Hi\u015f\u00e2m, a.g.e., II, 89; \u0130bn\u00fc\u2019l-Es\u00eer, el-K\u00e2mil fi\u2019t-Tarih, trc. \u0130stanbul 1986, I, 511).<\/p>\n<p>Son Ficar sava\u015f\u0131 ile Peygamber (s.a.s)\u2019in Mekke\u2019lileri \u0130sl\u00e2m\u2019a davet etmeye ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 610 y\u0131l\u0131 aras\u0131nda yirmi k\u00fcs\u00fbr y\u0131l vard\u0131r. Buna g\u00f6re ilk m\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlardan olan Z\u00fcbeyr (r.a)\u2019\u0131n bu tarihte, yirmi ya\u015f\u0131ndan b\u00fcy\u00fck olmas\u0131 gerekir.<\/p>\n<p>Z\u00fcbeyr\u2019in babas\u0131 \u00f6l\u00fcnce, amcas\u0131 Nevfel onun vel\u00e2yetini \u00fcstlenmi\u015fti. K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck ya\u015fta yetim kalan Z\u00fcbeyr\u2019i, annesi \u00e7ok d\u00f6verdi. Amcas\u0131 da onu savunur, d\u00f6vmesine engel olmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131rd\u0131. Ancak Z\u00fcbeyr b\u00fcy\u00fcy\u00fcp m\u00fcsl\u00fcman olunca, onu kar\u015f\u0131 bu sevgisi \u00f6fkeye d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc. \u00d6yle ki, \u0130sl\u00e2m\u2019dan d\u00f6nmesi i\u00e7in onu bir has\u0131ra ba\u011flay\u0131p asar ve ate\u015f yakarak dumanla ona i\u015fkence ederdi (el-Askal\u00e2ni, a.g.e., III, 5; \u0130bn Sa\u2019d, a.g.e., III, 101).<\/p>\n<p>Z\u00fcbeyr, 615 y\u0131l\u0131nda Mekkeli m\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlarla birlikte Habe\u015fistan\u2019a hicret etmi\u015ftir. Medine\u2019ye hicretten sonra muhacirlerle ens\u00e2r aras\u0131nda karde\u015flik tesis edildi\u011fi zaman Z\u00fcbeyr ile Seleme b. Sel\u00e2me b. Vak\u015f karde\u015f ilan edilmi\u015fti (\u0130bn Abd\u0131\u2019l-Berr, a.g.e., II, 511). Ba\u015fka rivayetlerde ise, Ras\u00fbl\u00fcllah\u2019\u0131n; Abdullah \u0130bn Mes\u2019\u00fbd veya Talha ya da Ka\u2019b b. M\u00e2lik\u2019le Z\u00fcbeyr aras\u0131nda karde\u015flik tesis etti\u011fi ifade edilmektedir (\u0130bn Sa\u2019d, a.g.e., III, 102; \u0130bn Hi\u015fam, a.g.e., I, 505).<\/p>\n<p>Bedir g\u00fcn\u00fc m\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlar\u0131n say\u0131l\u0131 birka\u00e7 at\u0131 vard\u0131. Bunlardan biri de Z\u00fcbeyr\u2019in Ya\u2019sub adl\u0131 at\u0131 idi. O g\u00fcn bir \u00e7ok m\u00fc\u015friki \u00f6ld\u00fcrm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr ki, bunlardan biri \u201cKurey\u015f\u2019in aslan\u0131, Muttalibo\u011fullar\u0131 aslan\u0131\u201d diye bilinen amcas\u0131 Nevfel idi (\u0130bn Hi\u015fam, a.g.e., I, 666, 708; \u0130bn Hi\u015fam, Cemheret\u00fc Ens\u00e2bi\u2019l-Arab, Kahire, 1982, 120).<\/p>\n<p>Z\u00fcbeyr\u2019in o\u011flu Abdullah, babas\u0131 ile ilgili olarak \u015fu olay\u0131 anlat\u0131yor: \u201cAhz\u00e2b g\u00fcn\u00fc, ben ve Eb\u00fb Seleme\u2019nin o\u011flu \u00d6mer (\u00e7ocuk oldu\u011fumuzdan) kad\u0131nlar\u0131n yan\u0131nda b\u0131rak\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131k. Bir de bakt\u0131m ki babam Z\u00fcbeyr, at\u0131n\u0131n \u00fcst\u00fcnde iki yahut \u00fc\u00e7 kere Kurayza o\u011fullar\u0131na gidip geldi. Evimize d\u00f6nd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fczde babama: Babac\u0131\u011f\u0131m! Ben seni Ben\u00ee Kurayza yurduna gidip gelirken g\u00f6rd\u00fcm dedim. Babam: Sen beni \u00f6yle g\u00f6rd\u00fcn m\u00fc evl\u00e2d\u0131m? dedi. Ben de Evet, dedim. Babam: Ras\u00fbl\u00fcllah (s.a.s); \u201cBen\u00ee Kurayza ya kim gider de onlar\u0131n haberini bana getirir\u201d dedi. Ben de gittim. D\u00f6nd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcmde, Ras\u00fbl\u00fcllah, anas\u0131 ile babas\u0131n\u0131 bir arada zikrederek \u00c2nam babam sana feda olsun\u201d dedi (Buhar\u00ee, Fed\u00e2il\u00fc Ash\u00e2bi\u2019n-Nebi, 13).<\/p>\n<p>Yerm\u00fck Vakas\u0131 g\u00fcn\u00fcnde Peygamber\u2019in sah\u00e2b\u00eeleri, Z\u00fcbeyr\u2019e hitaben:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEy Z\u00fcbeyr! Rumlara \u015fiddetli bir sald\u0131r\u0131 yapmazm\u0131s\u0131n ki, biz de seninle beraber \u015fiddetli bir sald\u0131r\u0131 yapal\u0131m\u201d dediler. Bunun \u00fczerine Z\u00fcbeyr (r.a) Rumlar \u00fczerine \u015fiddetli hamleler yapt\u0131. Bu hamleler s\u0131ras\u0131nda, Rumlar, Z\u00fcbeyr\u2019in omuz k\u00f6k\u00fcne iki darbe vurdular. Bu iki geni\u015f yara aras\u0131nda Bedir\u2019de yedi\u011fi bir darbenin \u00e7ukurlu\u011fu vard\u0131 ki, o\u011flu Urve; \u201cBen \u00e7ocukken bu darbenin yerine parmaklar\u0131m\u0131 sokar, oynard\u0131m\u201d demi\u015ftir (Buhar\u00ee, Fed\u00e2il\u00fc Ash\u00e2bi\u2019n-Nebi, 13).<\/p>\n<p>Z\u00fcbeyr, M\u0131s\u0131r fethinde de \u00f6nemli bir rol oynam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Nitekim halife Hz. \u00d6mer, 642\u2032de M\u0131s\u0131r\u2019\u0131n Babilin kalesini ku\u015fatan Amr \u0130bn\u00fc\u2019l-\u00c2s\u2019a yard\u0131m i\u00e7in onu onbin ki\u015filik bir kuvvetle g\u00f6ndermi\u015ftir. M\u0131s\u0131r\u2019\u0131n o zamanki h\u00fck\u00fcmet merkezi olan Heliopolis de Z\u00fcbeyr taraf\u0131ndan al\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r (\u0130bn\u00fc\u2019l-Es\u00eer, el-K\u00e2mil, \u0130stanbul 1985, II, 515, vd; \u0130A, XIII, 635).<\/p>\n<p>Z\u00fcbeyr\u2019in, Hz. Osman\u2019a ba\u015f kald\u0131ran M\u0131s\u0131rl\u0131lar\u0131n, Medine\u2019de ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirdikleri hareketlerde, Osman\u2019\u0131n \u015fehid edili\u015fine kadar, i\u015fe aktif olarak kar\u0131\u015fmad\u0131\u011f\u0131, baz\u0131 rivayetlere g\u00f6re; hem kendisinin hem de Hz. Ali\u2019nin, Hz. Osman\u2019\u0131 korumak \u00fczere o\u011fullar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6nderdikleri ifade edilmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p>Hz. Osman\u2019\u0131n \u015fehid edilmesinden sonra, ashab\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fck bir \u00e7o\u011funlu\u011fu Hz. Ali\u2019ye bey\u2019at etmi\u015flerdir. Z\u00fcbeyr ile Talha da bey\u2019at edenler aras\u0131ndad\u0131r. Baz\u0131 rivayetlere g\u00f6re bu ikisinin Hz. Ali\u2019ye istemeyerek bey\u2019at ettikleri g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor.<\/p>\n<p>Anlat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131na g\u00f6re, Z\u00fcbeyr ve Talha, bey\u2019at i\u015fi bittikten sonra Hz. Ali\u2019ye gelerek; \u201cSana hangi hususta bey\u2019at etti\u011fimizi biliyor musun?\u201d derler. Hz. Ali: \u201cEvet; dinlemek ve itaat etmek \u00fczere. Eb\u00fb Bekir, \u00d6mer ve Osman\u2019a hangi hususta bey\u2019at ettiyseniz onun \u00fczerine\u201d der. Onlar ise: \u201cHay\u0131r, biz sana i\u015fte ortak olmak \u00fczere bey\u2019at ettik\u201d derler. Hz. Ali onlar\u0131n bu isteklerini reddeder. Bu defa Kurey\u015f\u2019ten rastlad\u0131klar\u0131 bir cemaata Hz. Ali hakk\u0131nda ileri geri konu\u015furlar. Bu dedikodular\u0131 duyan Hz. Ali, Abdullah b. Mes\u2019ud\u2019u \u00e7a\u011f\u0131rtarak onun g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fc sorar. Abdullah; \u201cG\u00f6r\u00fcyorum ki, valilik istiyorlar. Sen de Z\u00fcbeyr\u2019e Basra valili\u011fini, Talha\u2019ya da K\u00fbfe valili\u011fini ver\u201d diyerek Hz. Ali\u2019ye tavsiyede bulunur. Hz. Ali bunu \u015fiddetle reddeder. Bilahare, Z\u00fcbeyr\u2019le Talha, Hz. Ali\u2019ye gelerek umre yapmak \u00fczere Mekke\u2019ye gitmek i\u00e7in izin isterler. Hz. Ali as\u0131l maksadlar\u0131n\u0131 bildi\u011fi halde onlara izin verir (\u0130bn Kuteybe, el-\u0130mameti ve\u2019s-Siy\u00e2se, 51; \u0130bn\u00fc\u2019l-Es\u00eer, a.g.e., III, 195 vd).<\/p>\n<p>Bundan sonra, Z\u00fcbeyr, Talha ve Hz. \u00c2i\u015fe\u2019nin, S\u0131ffin Sava\u015f\u0131nda Hz. Ali\u2019ye kar\u015f\u0131 cephe ald\u0131klar\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir. Hz. Ali, onlar\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda g\u00f6rmek istemedi\u011finden ikna etme yollar\u0131n\u0131 ar\u0131yordu. Bir ara Z\u00fcbeyr\u2019le kar\u015f\u0131la\u015f\u0131nca ona; \u201cEy Abdullah\u2019\u0131n babas\u0131! Seni buraya getiren nedir?\u201d diye sordu Z\u00fcbeyr: \u201cOsman\u2019\u0131n kan\u0131n\u0131 istemeye geldim\u201d dedi. Hz. Ali; \u201cOsman\u2019\u0131n kan\u0131n\u0131 m\u0131 istiyorsun? Allah, Osman\u2019\u0131 \u00f6ld\u00fcreni kahretsin. Ey Z\u00fcbeyr! Ras\u00fbl\u00fcllah\u2019\u0131n sana; \u201cSen Haks\u0131z oldu\u011fun halde Ali ile sava\u015facaks\u0131n \u201d dedi\u011fini hat\u0131rl\u0131yor musun?\u201d deyince, Z\u00fcbeyr; \u201cAllah \u015fahidimdir ki bu do\u011frudur\u201d der. Hz. Ali; \u201c\u00d6yleyse benimle ne diye sava\u015f\u0131yorsun?\u201d diye sorunca Z\u00fcbeyr \u201cVallahi bunu unutmu\u015ftum, \u015fayet hat\u0131rlasayd\u0131m sana kar\u015f\u0131 \u00e7\u0131kmazd\u0131m, seninle sava\u015fmazd\u0131m\u201d dedi (\u0130bn Kuteybe, a.g.e., 68).<\/p>\n<p>Bu konu\u015fmadan sonra Z\u00fcbeyr sava\u015ftan \u00e7ekilerek geri d\u00f6nd\u00fc. Medine yolunda Tem\u00eem kabilesine ait bir su ba\u015f\u0131na vard\u0131\u011f\u0131nda orada bulunan Amr b. C\u00fcr\u00fcm\u00fcz, onu takibe ba\u015flad\u0131. V\u00e2di\u2019s-Sib\u00e2\u2019 denilen mevkide bir f\u0131rsat\u0131n\u0131 bularak Z\u00fcbeyr\u2019i \u015fehid etti (H. 36) (\u0130bn Kuteybe, a.g.e., 69; \u0130bn Abdi\u2019l-Berr a.g.e., II, 515; \u0130bn Sa\u2019d a.g.e., III, 112; el-Askal\u00e2ni, a.g.e., III, 6).<\/p>\n<p>\u015eehid edildi\u011fi zaman ya\u015f\u0131, kimi kaynaklarda 66 veya 67 kimi kaynaklarda 64 kimi kaynaklarda ise 70 olarak kay\u0131tl\u0131d\u0131r (\u0130bn Hi\u015fam, I, 251; \u0130bn Abdi\u2019l-Berr, a.g.e., II, 516; \u0130bn Sa\u2019d a.g.e., III, 113; Butrus el-Bust\u00e2n\u00ee, a.g.e., IX, 177).<\/p>\n<p>Z\u00fcbeyr, \u015fehid edildi\u011fi zaman miras olarak geriye epey mal b\u0131rakm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu c\u00fcmleden olarak Medine\u2019de geni\u015f bir arazi ve onbir ev, Basra\u2019da iki ev, K\u00fbfe\u2019de bir ev ve M\u0131s\u0131r\u2019da bir ev b\u0131rakm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Toplam miras\u0131 yakla\u015f\u0131k 52.000.000 (elli iki milyon) idi. Baz\u0131 rivayetlere g\u00f6re; M\u0131s\u0131r, \u0130skenderiye, K\u00fbfe\u2019de arazileri, Baksra\u2019da da evleri vard\u0131. Ayr\u0131ca Medine\u2019deki arazilerinden de gelir sa\u011fl\u0131yordu (\u0130bn Sa\u2019d, a.g.e., III, 108 vd).<\/p>\n<p>Z\u00fcbeyr (r.a) kimi rivayetlere g\u00f6re uzun boyludur. Kimi rivayetlere g\u00f6re ise orta boylu, esmer benizli, seyrek sakall\u0131d\u0131r (el-Askal\u00e2n\u00ee, a.g.e., III, 5; \u0130bn Sa\u2019d, a.g.e., III, 107).<\/p>\n<p>Ash\u00e2bdan en \u00e7ok fetva verenler yedi ki\u015fidir. Bunlar; \u00d6mer, Ali, \u0130bn Mes\u2019ud, \u0130bn \u00d6mer, \u0130bn Abbas, Zeyd b. Sabit ve \u00c2i\u015fe\u2019dir. Bunlardan sonra ikinci derecede yer alan yirmi sahabeden biri de Z\u00fcbeyr (r.a)\u2019d\u0131r (el-Askal\u00e2n\u00ee, a.g.e., I, 9).<\/p>\n<p>Z\u00fcbeyr\u2019in \u00e7ocuklar\u0131: Onun onbiri erkek toplam yirmi \u00e7ocu\u011fu vard\u0131. Abdullah, Urve, M\u00fcnzir, \u00c2s\u0131m, Muhacir, Hadicet\u00fc\u2019l-K\u00fcbra, \u00dcmm\u00fc\u2019l-Hasan ve \u00c2i\u015fe, han\u0131m\u0131 Esm\u00e2 bint Eb\u00ee Bekr\u2019den; Halid, Amr, Hab\u00eebe, Sevde ve Hind adl\u0131 \u00e7ocuklar\u0131 \u00dcmm\u00fc Halid ad\u0131ndaki han\u0131m\u0131ndan d\u00fcnyaya gelmi\u015flerdir. \u00dcmmeti Halid\u2019in as\u0131l ad\u0131, Emet\u00fc binti Hafid b. Sa\u00eed b. el-\u00c2s\u2019d\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Di\u011fer \u00e7ocuklar\u0131; Mus\u2019ab, Hamza ve Remle, er-Reb\u00e2b binti \u00dcneyf isimli han\u0131m\u0131ndan; \u00dcbeyde ve Cafer, Zeyneb binti Mersed isimli han\u0131m\u0131ndan; Zeyneb ad\u0131ndaki k\u0131z\u0131, \u00dcmm\u00fc K\u00fcls\u00fcm binti Ukbe adl\u0131 han\u0131m\u0131ndan; Hadicet\u00fc\u2019s-Su\u011fra ad\u0131ndaki k\u0131z\u0131 da el-Hal\u00e2l binti Kays ad\u0131ndaki han\u0131m\u0131ndan d\u00fcnyaya gelmi\u015flerdir. O, \u00e7ocuklar\u0131na \u015fehid sahab\u00eelerin isimlerini vermekteydi.<\/p>\n<p>Z\u00fcbeyr \u015fehid edildi\u011fi zaman d\u00f6rt han\u0131m\u0131 vard\u0131.
